Alaska, here I come!

Yeah, I stole that from the internet. Hopefully the next time I post, I'll have some amazing pictures of my own to put on here, seeing as I'm leaving for my trip TOMORROW!!!!! I've finished nearly everything on my to-do list, I'm all packed, and all I've got going on tonight is 41/2 hours of work at the grocery store, 5:30-10. And then sleep, wake up, and hit the road to Boston, where the trip begins! YAY!!!! I don't even get to Alaska for another 2 1/2 weeks, but the trip is the whole thing...visiting my grandparents, going to NYC, seeing Toronto and Jasper, and taking the train through the Canadian Rockies...and all of southern Canada. THen the ferry up to Whittier. Yeah, it's awesome. YAY! I'm excited, can you tell? ;) Alright, well, have fun y'all...you know I will be! I'll post again with lots of pictures when I get back, so until June...farewell!

The fish is alive

So here are the pictures, as promised. But first, a few words from your sponsor...er...writer. Yesterday we had a blood drive, and I'd taken vitamins and eaten steak and legumes and stuff during the week, because my iron is usually too low to donate, so I haven't donated since the first time a year and a half ago. But this time, I was determined. So I was donor number 2...I got through the iron perfectly! Then onto actually donating. I had brought a book to read (Bridge to Terabithia...if you've never read it, it's worth your time. It's been one of my favorite books since 5th grade) because then I wouldn't have to focus on getting my blood sucked (Steven suggested that next time I do it, I read Twilight). Cuz honestly, I'm not so good with needles and blood coming out of my own arm...don't ask why I donate, cuz I have my reasons. Anyway, so I was sitting there minding my own business, occupying my mind, and then the machine started to beep. And

On the Bright Side of Life

It's been a good week so far. Today was especially good. I slept in, read some more of the New Testament, and had a relaxing but productive day. I drove Mom to work late (she didn't feel well when she woke up originally), then went and stopped by the Pelrines' and caught up with Mary a little bit, which was awesome. Then I went downtown and handed out Blood Drive posters along Main Street. We're having a blood drive at the Church on Saturday, so I wanted to get the word out about that. I stopped at Darrell's Music Hall while I was down there, of course, and looked around in there! I saw them unloading and putting together a BEAUTIFUL baby grand piano...it was white...I think I almost drooled! I also finished cleaning my room today, so now it's clean and there's a lot less cat hair in it! I think I'm going to light a candle... okay, now it's lit and pretty and will smell good! Even though I need to go to bed relatively soon. Because I have t

Happy Birfday James!

Yay today is James' birfday, and he's 22 and OLD. Good thing he's engaged. Or else I'd start to worry about him being the oldest person at BYU who isn't married! :p Last night was a fireside with Elder Bednar. It was an awesome fireside, and his talk was so good! I watched it at the Belnaps', actually, which was enjoyable. They're like another family, kinda likethe Grays. Even though it was only Sister and Bro Belnap, it was still enjoyable. We watched the fireside together, then had ice cream. I also saw some of Carolee's wedding pictures from last summer...she looked so gorgeous! And I talked to her on the phone briefly, which was awesome, as I haven't talked to her in almost a year! ALso yesterday, I went to church in the Nashua 2nd ward, where Papa Gray is the Bishop now, and I don't know about half the ward. But hey,it's all good! It was really good to be back. And to see old friends. And make new ones. Life is good! I'm

Oops...too long

So this is what happens when I wait far too long to write on my blog (and in my real journal... I did a lot of catching up last weekend on the train!). I get so far behind that it's a daunting task to catch up. But oh well. So here are the highlights. I left Provo and came back to NH. Tiff Tiff wrote a blog about me...it was sweet! :) I took the train across the country. I went to the Atlantic Ocean on my first day back at this end of the country. I have a job and income! I've been really busy, even though I am not in school. And the lowlights. I left Provo and my friends there... I don't have many here, because they are all out west! I haven't finished cleaning my room yet! So yup, that's the summary! :) I'll put up some pictures...because we all know a picture is worth a thousand words. James and Tim and I went on a bus adventure the Tuesday before I left Provo. It was awesome! Natural studying for my geology final, which went pretty well.
