Undates, MacBeth, and Failed Tests

So Mom wanted me to write about my Saturday. Well really, it was pretty uneventful. But in answer to a few questions... yes, I follow the Sox. I've done that for a long time...not really as much as I plan to this year, but I've supported them for years. Neil Diamond sings Sweet Caroline. Okay, so I took my math test, and I failed with a higher grade than I would have had I not gotten help from Spencer the night before! For real...some problems I only knew how to do because we'd talked about similar problems like 15 hours before. And I slept well that night too. But I won't find out my real grade until next week. I'm expecting to be right around the average, which will be nice. Oh yeah, and we had cleaning checks on Saturday morning. So when we moved into this apartment back in September, the people before us left it pretty dirty. So we have to work hard for cleaning checks, because the people who inspect are really particular (as they should be). This ...

Math Test!

So last night was eventful and yet uneventful at the same time. How does that work? WELL... Alex came to visit for a few minutes around 6:45, and then Spencer came over around 7:15. He helped me with studying for my math test, and now I think I understand at least some of it a little better. Some of it I will probably never understand. But in the 2 hours Spencer was here, we got through quite a lot, and I just have to look it over today before I go to take the test in an hour or so. But I'm actually feeling pretty okay about the test. Anyway, after Spencer left, I ran up to the testing center to meet Jess, who was taking a test. We were going to see a movie at 10, over at the dollar theater. So after her test, we started walking. We got there in about a half hour (2.5 miles) and found out the movie was completely sold out! Bummer. Well, Jess hadn't eaten dinner, so we went over to Zupas, getting there just minutes before it closed, and she got some food. And then we...

Onward, ever onward.

Today has been busy, just as every other day this week...month...year. But it's a good kind of busy. Well, until calculus comes into the picture! It never ceases to amaze me how random things go through my head. Like... I'll have trains of thoughts that make zero sense whatsoever to anyone but myself. And other times, random thoughts come into my head. My brain is weird, I think. Today I was sitting in the library doing math homework, trying to understand how letters and numbers are all the same, and how math is real (I think it's all made up...who needs it, anyway?! math people, don't answer that!), and taking like 10 years on each of my homework problems (which I still haven't finished...). I have a paper for D&C due on Monday, and I've been trying to come up with ideas for it, and I've been coming up blank for a week and a half now. It's frustrating. Anyway, as I was sitting there doing math, the answer popped into my head, and I dumped...
