Alaska, there I went!

My, how time flies. First off, the collection of about 200 photos can be found here . This is not nearly all the photos I took, but some of the best and most relevant. An overview. on May 14th, Mom and I hopped on the train in Boston, and took it to NY. There we visited with my grandparents for a bit, and stayed the night at their place. We got up early the next morning and hopped on another train to Toronto, Ontario, Canada. I've been on that ride before, at least as far as Buffalo. From there we went a different route than the Lakeshore goes. We went through Niagara Falls, stopping at Niagara Falls, NY, and then Niagara Falls, ON. Border crossing was simple; we had our passports. We did see the mist from the Falls as we crossed the river, so that was sweet! We got into Torono aroudn 7:30, I think, and then had to find our way to the hostel we had reservations at. Well, unbeknownst to us, they had changed our reservations to a different building. Alaska, here I come!

Yeah, I stole that from the internet. Hopefully the next time I post, I'll have some amazing pictures of my own to put on here, seeing as I'm leaving for my trip TOMORROW!!!!! I've finished nearly everything on my to-do list, I'm all packed, and all I've got going on tonight is 41/2 hours of work at the grocery store, 5:30-10. And then sleep, wake up, and hit the road to Boston, where the trip begins! YAY!!!! I don't even get to Alaska for another 2 1/2 weeks, but the trip is the whole thing...visiting my grandparents, going to NYC, seeing Toronto and Jasper, and taking the train through the Canadian Rockies...and all of southern Canada. THen the ferry up to Whittier. Yeah, it's awesome. YAY! I'm excited, can you tell? ;) Alright, well, have fun y'all...you know I will be! I'll post again with lots of pictures when I get back, so until June...farewell!

Onward, ever onward.

Today has been busy, just as every other day this week...month...year. But it's a good kind of busy. Well, until calculus comes into the picture! It never ceases to amaze me how random things go through my head. Like... I'll have trains of thoughts that make zero sense whatsoever to anyone but myself. And other times, random thoughts come into my head. My brain is weird, I think. Today I was sitting in the library doing math homework, trying to understand how letters and numbers are all the same, and how math is real (I think it's all made up...who needs it, anyway?! math people, don't answer that!), and taking like 10 years on each of my homework problems (which I still haven't finished...). I have a paper for D&C due on Monday, and I've been trying to come up with ideas for it, and I've been coming up blank for a week and a half now. It's frustrating. Anyway, as I was sitting there doing math, the answer popped into my head, and I dumped...
