Yesterday we had a blood drive, and I'd taken vitamins and eaten steak and legumes and stuff during the week, because my iron is usually too low to donate, so I haven't donated since the first time a year and a half ago. But this time, I was determined. So I was donor number 2...I got through the iron perfectly! Then onto actually donating. I had brought a book to read (Bridge to Terabithia...if you've never read it, it's worth your time. It's been one of my favorite books since 5th grade) because then I wouldn't have to focus on getting my blood sucked (Steven suggested that next time I do it, I read Twilight).
